Fees

Clients are billed at the end of the month after Final Reports have been issued. The invoice contains:
- Date of Service;
- Patient Name;
- Client Reference Number;
- Test performed;
- Test Fee; and
- Test count summary.
An electronic invoice can be sent to facilitate reconciliation.
Clients may be billed for common, widely available collection supplies provided by HICL.
$17.50 will be charged for each package of dry ice supplied to clients for transportation of frozen specimens.
$15.00 Transfer Fee per specimen will be charged to Ontario hospitals for transfer of specimens to funded laboratory programs.
$15.00 Transfer Fee per package (plus weight or any other surcharges) will be charged to ship specimens to client-specified laboratory in Ontario.
$25.00 additional Handling Fee may be charged for urgent orders.
$50.00 Handling Fee will be charged per shipment of Dangerous Goods.
